Latitude's' standard product line includes a number of metal and alloy injection molding feedstock. Latitude also has the unique ability to customize materials with the "dial-in" properties you desire. Please contact us immediately so that you may begin work on the product(s) you need.

STAINLESS STEEL

A variety of stainless steel alloys are available from PowderFlo®. These include 316L for optimum corrosion resistance, 17-4 PH for high strength and toughness, and 410 for hardness and wear resistance. Stainless steels are iron based alloys having >12% chromium. At that level and above, corrosion resistance is conferred in general environments. PowderFlo® Technologies offers stainless feedstocks in the four main stainless categories:

AUSTENITIC (ALLOY 316L)
* non-hardenable
* non-magnetic
* corrosion resistant
* high toughness

SEMI-MARTENSITIC PRECIPITATION HARDENED (ALLOY 17-4PH)
* high strength
* moderate corrosion resistance

MARTENSITIC (ALLOY 410)
* high hardness
* wear resistant
* relatively low corrosion resistance (greater than plain carbon steels)

FERRITIC (ALLOY 444)
* good corrosion resistance
* magnetic
* low strength
* low toughness
* nickel free

SUPERALLOYS

PowderFlo® Technologies offers nickel based superalloys such as Hastelloy X and IN718. Hastelloy X is a solid solution alloy offering exceptional chemical corrosion resistance and elevated temperature oxidation resistance. IN718 is a precipitation hardened alloy offering an excellent combination of strength, toughness, and oxidation resistance to temperatures of 12000F.
