Latitude Manufacturing Exceeds Business Objectives for First Year

Latitude Manufacturing Technology founded in 2002 to commercialize the PowderFloŽ Metal Injection Molding technology has exceeded its first year revenue target. Projected sales growth for 2003 exceeds Metal Injection Molding Industry projections.

Latitude Manufacturing feedstock sales in 2002 exceeded 60,000 lbs. Unlike traditional wax based MIM binders, PowderFloŽ utilizes a aqueous agar binder system which has the advantage of producing larger, thicker and more complex parts. Current manufactured parts have an average mass of about 300 grams significantly larger than traditional MIM parts. One PowderFloŽ licensee currently has a part greater than 2 kg in final evaluation. .

Latitude continues to attract Worldwide interest demonstrated by the number of new US & Offshore licensees signed in 2002. The numbers of companies testing PowderFloŽ continues to grow globally. .

Latitude is currently working to expand the current product offering from stainless steel alloys and nickel-based superalloys to include a variety of other widely used MIM and custom alloys. .

Latitude Manufacturing PowderFloŽ continues to offer maximum size, complexity and value. For more information, contact Tom Pelletiers 908 813-8282 x210 or visit www.latitudemanufacturing.com
