COMPONENT EXAMPLES
The aqueous based agar binder system
is available in a variety of stainless (HK30,
316L, 410, 17-4PH) and tool steels (H11) as well
as tungsten and nickel base superalloys (GMR235,
Hastelloy X). Some component examples are:
- a sintered automotive turbocharger
wheel weighing 220 grams made of the nickel
alloy GMR235
- a sintered aircraft engine
combustor swirler made of the nickel alloy Hastelloy
X weighing 62 grams.
